I often wonder…….how we lived a hundred years back…..

Now habitation in a man made concrete and steel jungle Then – habitation mostly near a river around GODS supreme creation nature.

Now – Wake up after Sun rise to the mayhem of rushed mornings Then–Woke up before Sun rise to the humming sounds of nature.

Now-Wake up with a quick one minute prayer Then–Woke up with gratitude and prayers to Sun God ,Holy River & to Mother Earth.

Now- Advanced technology yet no one is comfortable Then – Comfort in Nature

Now -All kinds of unheard ailments, Then– Everyone was mostly Healthy.

Now – Value only me -myself, Then– Valued everyone and everything around.

Now- Do not acknowledge anyone’s efforts or appreciate anyone Then- Appreciated everyone never undermining anyone’s contribution.

Now -Nuclear families Then –Joint families and Extended families too.

Now- Power is Position and Money Then- Power of a loving united joint family.

Now- Learning and influenced by people and media around , Then –Learning from grand parents & society and from nature how to give freely.

Now- feelings of ‘ Wanting More’. , Then- Feelings of Abundance.

Now-Choking with responsibility,thinking I’m the only one who is doing everything ,Then– Felt everyone was doing their share -so relaxed.

Now – Stressed , Then- Carefree.

Now – Busy always if not physically ,then mentally Then- Mostly free.

Now – Take out time for family time ,and call it quality time Then– Time was meant for family, friends and community.

Now -Time is a Luxury, Then- Luxury was time .

Now –Immediate neighbours unknown , Then– Everyone knew everyone.

Now- Each one wants personal space, Then– Everyone in everyone’s heart.

Now- Value of money , Then– Values of morals and ethics.

Now– Appreciate only money , power and position, Then-Appreciated humility,compassion, empathy.

Now – irritated ,stressed ,aggressive and anxious, Then–Patient , kind ,generous and carefree.

Now – Talks also depend on who matters and for a reason, Then– Helping just anyone was as normal as breathing.

Now – Not happy even with myself , Then– Happy with others.

Now- have to find reasons to feel happy for sometime, Then– Happy always for no reason.

Now – Lonely in a crowd , Then – Maybe Alone but never lonely.

All this and much more leaves me wondering from where have we come to what ? This certainly is not where we all ever wanted to be

This lock down of a few weeks has a deeper meaning and is actually forcibly , inadvertently , taking people back to what truly gives them happiness, without them even realising.This has taught us how little we need but we were only busy amassing. C@Rg

Pollution which had become a bane and almost impossible for humans to clear, has cleared on its own in ten days leaving mankind in a daze. Mother earth, holy rivers, the environment and all other living beings are healing and breathing again. Suddenly there are no thefts, no murder,no road accidents, no crimes whatsoever. At a deeper level its almost a stand still situation for humans yet no one is angry, or irritable rather humble, patient, compassionate and everyone is in a meditative mode -that is each one is praying for everyone and so positive that this testing time shall pass soon.Each one in gratitude to GOD every moment and is learning again to value everyone and everything, families living together again ,in moderation, sharing workload . No longer do ,riches ,power, position, money seem to matter to people. For suddenly unknowingly all are in the same position and stand united. C@Rg

This episode is a mere reflection of how we lived several thousand years ago.

Every situation, is for us to learn something from, to be far sighted and TO BE ABLE TO SEE BEYOND WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW!……

WHY IT IS HAPPENING IS MORE IMPORTANT, IT’S HAPPENING TO LET US EXPERIENCE A TINY BIT OF SATYUG AGAIN……..

Yes this was to tell us that this is how our world is meant to be. Maybe this is another chance for us to reset ,to make it easier for for us to choose , how we want our world to be. Is this not the kind of world that all of us have been craving for , as every experience remains in the subconscious,and one craves for only the blissful ones again. C@Rg

Time to choose for each one of us and to Recreate your HEAVEN here again.
